thanks James ! here is a better shot of it. My dream in life was to be a pilot......too much time got past.....closest I got was fueling planes at strongsville airport. Did get to fly a piper !! [with instructor ] Stay cool, God bless man !
HAPPY BIRTHDAY, STEPHANIE HARRIS BUSSER!Welcome to the other side...maturity, wisdom, sudden desire to make the next reunion a week-long all-shuffleboard event--we expect all of that to come home with you when you get back from Vegas this time.
Side note: Congrats on the blue ribbon, Russ! Great pics, too.
...I'm still liking Russ' suit quite a bit. <--not joking, FYI.
Gordon--I can't speak for Judy Robinson, but I'd consider the thought that she didn't have a whole lot of choice in potential suitors, what with being lost in space and all.
I love The Robot. When I bought that particular action figure-of-utter-nostalgic-joy some years ago, the young clerk at the Toys-R-Us store asked me what exactly it was; he said they were flying off the shelves, but he had no idea what it was. And that was the first time I started to feel the years flying by at a seemingly exponentially increasing rate.
Since we all missed seeing Will at the Reunion...although he had a completely legitimate reason for being a “no-show”!
Here’s a YouTube video from August 12th of the 2010 Hoka Hey Motorcycle Challenge Award Ceremony at Broken Spoke Campground in Sturgis, South Dakota. During the 70th Annual Sturgis Rally, Jim Red Cloud Durham awarded Will $500,000 for 1st place in the 1st Annual 2010 Hoka Hey Motorcycle Challenge.
Congratulations on not only your phenomenal accomplishment, but in how you have handled your victory and the small minority of vocal online “whiners” with class and integrity! Way to “represent” Will.
I came to appreciate Lost In Space later in life since it was not part of the “family viewing” line-up in my home when it originally aired; the drawback to having only one TV and parents who decided what was “on TV” for the evening!
I got my Lost In Space “fix” watching re-runs in college!
I can also relate to your feeling “...the years flying by at a seemingly exponentially increasing rate...” after your experience with the Toys-R-Us clerk...I find it ironic that the revelation of the swiftness of time was precipitated by a TV show about being Lost In Space, which has an element of hyper-speed (ie; the swiftness of time)? Weird, no?
Anyway, thanks Deanna for posting such a great icon of our generation...
Found this site by accident. Glad I did!
Was browsing through the 2010 reunion pics and I did recognize a few people but man, so many more I couldn't put a name too.
It's too bad I couldn't make it up for that. Would have been great to see you all.

Here's something for your Labor Day weekend entertainment.
If you can't make it to the Cleveland Air Show, just stay where you are and watch the Virtual Blue Angels. This is a virtual air show on your PC set to music, performed in a flight simulator with different camera angles. If you've ever played with MS Flight Simulator or Flightgear, you can appreciate how difficult this is to do, let alone doing it over the internet from different locations. These guys are good!
The Virtual Blue Angels are a group of enthusiastic flight simulation pilots who strive to be the best of the best among the flight sim community. Formed in January 2004, the demonstration squadron includes the six F/A-18A Hornet jets of the Delta Formation, and the C-130 "Fat Albert" transport aircraft.
If you have a sub-woofer, crank up your speakers for the jet engine sounds!

I had so much fun working the Oktoberfest with Stephanie Harris Busser, Deanna Dugan, Mike Franklin, and his friends Steve "I gotta dance" and Don "I can pour beer just as well as Steve!".
WOW! thanks for posting the new photo of Bobby Sherman from "Here Come The Brides"! I have to admit that I had the BIGGEST "crush " on him...I even have his 45 stashed somewhere in my basement...
What a blast-from-the-past...you rock!!

Also, I am so glad to hear that you had a great time at Oktoberfest...can't wait to pour some beer on Monday!
