Over the past year,
the reunion commitee organized 3 FUNdraisers to:
- help offset the reunion ticket price by more than $20,
- maintain our BereaBraves1978.com web site,
- purchase a class gift for the City of Berea.
(We donated a handicapped park bench for Coe Lake.

You're the one who got the whole thing started;
set up our bank accounts; participated in fundraisers;

TRACY KOSSUTH HAMILTON
Tracy was our fabulous treasurer,
keeping track of all incoming payments & expenses;
receiving mail and preparing mailing to be sent out;
assisted in our choice of venue
attended & helped plan every fundraiser;
She was also our "snack queen" for Saturday;
our gracious hostess for most of
our monthly meetings and MORE!
STEPHANIE HARRIS BUSSER
Stephanie took all our meeting notes as secretary,
and if you'd like to see how this event evolved,
just check out our "meeting minutes" page!
Steph also painstakingly scanned
ALL of our senior pictures from her yearbook
so they could be put on this web site with your profile.
She attended EVERY fundraiser;
she helped with every mailing;
she ordered/picked up our cupcakes,
bought the candles,
hand-made all of the little 1978 flags
for them and MORE.
JACK WOODARDS
Jack was our golf outing chairperson,
so if you had a good time golfing, you have Jack to thank!
He also helped with fundraisers, mailings, and MORE!
DENISE GRIVNA SAVINSKY
Denise arranged the hotel reservation rates for our
out of town classmates; helped plan the menu (taste tester!);
helped with fundraisers, mailings, helped at the
reunion registration table and MORE!
MIKE FRANKLIN
Mike helped with our fundraisers,
helped with our mailings,
& helped plan and order our
BHS 1978 CLASS GIFT to the city of Berea and MORE!
(FYI: We donated a handicapped bench to the Coe Lake area,
make sure you check it out!)
Mike also was in charge of our beautiful
Class of 1978 banner which we will also
now have available for our future events!
STEVE HARRIS
Steve was our artistic director.
He designed our "Save the Date" postcard,
our reunion registration form,
our nametag logo, attended meetings, fundraisers,
and contributed his time and talent
in a variety of ways.
AARON BERNARD NEELY
Aaron, or "Captain Berea" as we like to call him,
helped to find many of our missing classmates.
He also made sure that those who
had passed away were recognized.
Aaron attended fundraisers,
helped with mailings and MORE!
JEANNE CAMP PROCTOR
Jeanne advertised and attended all of our fundraisers,
helped pick out the menu (taste tester!);
helped with mailings, and MORE!
RICK MAJESKY
Rick organized our participation in the Oktoberfest fundraising event,
participated in all fundraisers, helped with the Class Gift,
and helped with mailings.
Rick is organizing the Oktoberfest fundraiser this year as well,

Our Master of Ceremonies for the evening,

CARLA BARR SULLIVAN & BARB PALMOWSKI ALLEN
Although they do not live locally,
Carla and Barb
wanted to make sure they
contributed in some way.
They both volunteered to help at our
reunion registration table.
Barb was also actively looked for
“missing classmates”
to inform them of our reunion.
ANNE VAN WYE SILOY
As our webmaster, Anne organized and administered
our terrific website.
She kept us all in touch and informed throughout
the planning process
gently reminding us about committee meetings,
fundraisers and registration deadlines.
Due to her organization and planning skills,
we've gotten so much enjoyment from the website,
taking part in the fundraisers, and a fabulous party last night!
Due to the time and efforts given
by those named above,
and thanks to all those who
participated in our fundraising,
we were able to offset the cost of our event
by $20+ (and include an open bar!)
as well as keep our 1978 web site active
for at least 3 more years.
